Quick! Vietnamese Sandwich in SF?
I've been promised a trip to the Green Fair if I can come up with a place for a Vietnamese Sandwich for the trip.
The Green Fair is at the concourse at eighth and Brannon. so near there would be nice.

Not really walking distance.....but pretty close by bike, bus, cab or car -
Baguette Express
Saigon Sandwich
I think they are both open on Sunday during the day, but I'm not positive. Probably worth calling first if you can.
Also, the Latte Express on 5th btwn Mission and Market has good pork banh mi. That's close to Powell BART.

Latte Express does have really good pork- and they put a decent amount on (it isn't sliced as thin as usual). It is almost a pork chop banh mi- just a note though- theirs is about 4 bucks, so not what most people expect for banh mi.
