Anneke Jans is not open for lunch unfortunately.
Robert's is good, right on the same strip as the Outlets. Bob's Clam Shack is a good fried clam place.
Not too much to choose from right there though. Just kind of mediocre.

Anneke Jans looks like a great choice for dinner. Thanks!

You may want to call ahead for reservation.. The mussels with great hill blue are quite yummy! Enjoy!
If you're looking for lunch, you might want to check some previous posts for Portsmouth suggestions - probably worth the couple minute drive in terms of choices and quality

They are on OpenTable!

If you like fried clams with bellies or lobster rolls, Bob's is right there on route 1. Looks like a shack, is a shack, but has some great food

On the other hand, if you take the "old" coast road out of Kittery, Captain Simeons's is almost as good, has lots of inside sit-down spots, and has a liquor license. And a great view!

Love Robert's. Have never had a bad meal there, and they also own Bob's Clam Shack.

Robert's Maine Grill and Bob's Clam Hut (same fellow) are touristy and fine, Maine Diner is just that, (a diner).

I came to this post just to recommend Loco Coco's- they have the best Mexican food I've found in the area, bar none. My husband and I often make the drive from Midcoast Maine to western NH, and we're always careful to time our trips so that we'll be hungry just in time for Loco's, and they'll be open. I especially love the enchiladas verdes- best green sauce in New England (in my humble opinion).
