Kale Stems in Soup?
There was a recipe in the NY Times that used the stems of chard. You cut them up in small pieces and put them with the onions and cook them down separate from the leaves. Could you do this with kale stems in a soup recipe? I was thinking of cooking them with the onions in place of celery since I don't have any celery but I just went to the farmer's market and I have A LOT of kale.
