Anyone try Vicker's Restaurant in Exton since reopening

I just saw today in the local newspaper that Vicker's had reopened. I'd love to know more about who's the owner and chef now. I always liked going this time of the year. A cozy, romantic, french/continenal kind of restaurant. I'd appreciate any info.

  1. I also heard that the previous owner, Arturo Burigatto, bought the restaurant again. He always did a great job, and in its' day, it was one of the finest restaurants in Chester County. I hope it regains a prominent position once again, and I look forward to trying it in the near future.

      I am glad to hear Vicker's is reopening but sorry the owner Arturo Burigatto is the same owner of Primavera in Downingtown as I like the lighting and atmosphere but the food is lousy. Hopefully chef David Robinson is good and can keep them coming back to Vickers.

    2. They just sent me an e-mail with a link to their menu. It looks pretty old-fashioned (beef wellington, escargots, souffles, etc.) which is not itself a bad thing. But the prices! Entrees in the high 30s, veal for 44, wow! Seems to me very out of touch with the times.

        I agree. That's why I asked if anyone had been. I think the prices are 5 - 10 dollars more than before. I'd rather pay less at a great l(little) restaurant (Gilmore's, brandywine prime).
