We'd like to go out for Thanksgiving dinner in Knoxville. Any suggestions? Not too fancy--just good local food and a friendly cozy atmosphere.

are you looking for somewhere that will be offering special thanksgiving dinner menu options or anything? or just a good meal?

      Either would be fine.

Don't let the name put you off, but I suggest Big Fatty's. This is on Kingston Pike in Bearden near the large Kroger. They have an interesting chef and are having Thanksgiving. Reservations are necessary. If you go, please post a follow up.

Look up Rouxbarb's on Northshore. Interesting Southern food.

I believe they just have takeout for T-giving.
