Where should we go to eat in the valley? We generally try to stay as close to the 405 as possible because we come from all over. Any suggestions for good and inexpensive food?
Within a block or so you have La Frite, Buon Cucina and Simon's. In the Galleria, you have P.F. Changs, El Torito Grill and The Cheesecake Factory. I would avoid Sisley's at all costs.
Bob's suggestion of Simon's Cafe is a great idea: http://www.simonscafe.com/

California Chicken Cafe, Rosti, Marmalade Cafe. I agree, stay away from Siscily!
Inexpensive food near 405 and Ventura Blvd? There's always 'Mickey D's, El Pollo Loco. But seriously, my favorite is 'The Cheesecake Factory! Mmmmmm!

Why not go a little further east to Ventura and Woodman and go to Carnival,.. The food is great and reasonable.
How cheap are you looking? There is a good mexican place called El Rancho at 15030 Ventura Blvd. It's a small, cheap place. The Italian restaurant next to Simons, Cucina Bene, is amazing. I love going there for lunch. The lunches are between $8-$14.
thansk for all the suggestions
