Best Panettone - Where?

Looking to source a premier panettone - online or in London if possible - and wanted a few recommendations from my fellow hounds. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't do a good panettone at Princi on Wardour St. Their breads and pastries are authentic and it's worth a call to check.

I've been trying Panettones from everywhere I can find and I can confirm that Princi (http://www.princi.co.uk/) is by far the best so far. However, it wasn't cheap: £18. Other suggestions welcome.

Thanks to all of you for the advice, which will now be acted upon. Princi first, then Carluccio's.

          I salute you!

I'd salute back, but I have a bad left arm. Do let us know how the panettone was at both places. I'm beginning to daydream about having some! I've only really had it a few times and that was back in NY.

The panettone at Carluccio's (various locations) is quite decent. The tradizionale is excellent and the cioccolato is seriously addictive.
