Chart House with Parents?

We are planning dinner with our elderly parents the Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend. We prefer downtown venue, parking or valet available, full liquor, no dietary restrictions, noise level moderate to low. We're considering Chart House but welcome other suggestions. Has anyone been to CH recently? Thank you.

I think it's a good bet under your parameters unless your parents are real foodies, in which case Sel de la Terre might be better (not sure about valet though). If you wanted to really splurge there is also Locke-Ober. Finally, Brasserie Jo works well for my parents with remarkably similar parameters as yours although it's not downtown. Last thing, it really helps to ask for a quiet table when you make reservations if hard of hearing is an issue -- of course you probably already know that ;)

SDLT definitely has Valet at their waterfront (State street?) location.

I would second (third?) SDLT over the Chart House. More interesting and better food, IMO. I have also had brunch on a busy Sunday there with my hard-of-hearing elderly grandmother-in-law, and it was a very pleasant experience.

SdlT's menu is a lot different than the Chart House. If they are meat and potatoes or plain fish kinda folks SdlT probably isn't the place for them.

I've been the past few Xmas eves and enjoyed my prime rib. I think Ms 9 had a fish dish and liked it.
