Perplexed by Honey, am I doing this wrong?
My honey has crystalized- what do I do with it now? & Why did this happen?
I started storing my honey on a ledge in my kitchen that is near a window this past summer.- is this the culprit? Are there storage specifications that I missed?
It does take me a while to go through a jar....Has it gone bad?can it be used if heated or is it all a lost cause?
Not to worry--often happens to me, especially when the weather cools down. As zfalcon said, just use the microwave or place in a pan of simmering water. If you use the microwave, though, be careful. It can go to boiling pretty quickly. Nuke for a smallish amount of time, then nuke for a bit more if necessary.
