Catering on Kauai - Anyone have any experiences?
I am searching for a caterer for a small 12 person wedding reception and I was wondering if anyone on this board has had any experiences good or bad they can share with any of the local catering companies? I am on the lookout for Kalua pig and other Hawaiian staples, nothing fancy, no pan-asian butter sauces, ginger crusts, etc..
No experience, but just retruned from Kauai and read and heard great things about Mark's (in Lihue I think). They do take out lunches but are primarily a caterer.

Mark's may fit the bill. Don't know if they do the whole pig, but they do have kalua pork. I found their plate lunches and desserts among the best on Kauai. Although I ate at the take-out place, I know they are known as caterers.

You might try Windward Market. I've had food in their retail store and at catered events. Onolicious good quality grinds.

I really think Scotty's Beachside BBQ would do a good job. They can do Kalua Pig and other Hawaiian favorites if you ask. They have really good food. Mark's is a good option too - especially their teri beef. I don't like some of their other dishes though.
