restaurant for party of 30-40, keeping cost low

Looking for a restaurant in the city (nearby NJ options welcome) for a holiday party to host about 40 people. Which places offer pre-fix menus or would have options so that we could spend $25 or less per person?? Suggestions welcome (other than Maggiano's or BucaDB), thanks!

You might give Bellini Cafe a call.

Mustapha at Figs might work with you on a menu. Figs is byo and the entrees hover around $20. Alternatively, Sazon's prices would certainly fit in your budget. We were there the other evening and they had about 30 people in for a banquet. It looked great.

Joseph Poon has a catering hall in Chinatown, as well as his new restaurant in Old City. He has a 25 dollar holiday menu listed on his website. www.josephpoon.com.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the black sheep pub in philly and friends had a price fix dinner there too. There is a room with it's own bar and the food is yummy.
