Suggestion for a Buddhist/Chinese/Taiwanese vegetarian restuarant near Chinatown/Downtown?

I lived in Taiwan for awhile and ate the best food at the Buddhist restaurants there and would love to find something similar in LA. And on the East side as that's closer to home. Any suggestions?

Vegetarian Wok on San Gabriel is pretty good--hardcore Chinese vegetarian. Bean Sprouts in Arcadia is more of a Taiwanese vegetarian with some Western touches. Here's some more information (I haven't updated my description of Bean Sprouts, yet): http://www.geocities.com/raytamsgv/ch...

There are quite a number of Chinese vegetarian restaurants in the SGV.

Some Chinese vegetarian places mentioned in this thread, all in the San Gabriel Valley.

I'm not sure about Taiwan-style Buddhist restuarants, but there's a Japanese Buddhist restaurant in Little Tokyo, Shojin. I've heard it's quite austere.
