Had gotten word about this last week from a friend who knew the pastry chef there. Sure enough, I went by last night and it was dark with a "For Rent" sign in the window.
Old-ish news? Been closed for a month or so.
I thought, at it's peak, it was the best restaurant in Bethesda, though reports recently seemed to imply they were slipping.
Interesting post! While the food was good, the pasta entree portions were ridiculously small for the $$ price.
That's too bad. For all the tons of restaurants in Bethesda, it doesn't seem to have many (any?) really great, special occasion places.
