MY BH saw a sign on Marsh Creek Road indicating lamb was being offered for sale but neglected to write down any details.

Does anyone know about this?

Many thanks.

Not Marsh Creek Rd. but kind of local.

Thanks for your interest in local lamb. Please refer to our web site, www.lambeatersconnection.com , which, besides being a directory, tells about our farm and production methods.

Wally -- are your lambs vegetarian?

Are you sure it was live? I wonder how many Chowhounds would have the nerve to slaughter a lamb themselves.

Our teenager won't even eat them because they are too cute. Let alone slaughter them.
I used to have a boyfriend who would kill things to eat them: quail for Sunday breakfast, a goat for a barbecue. He'd been raised on sheep and cattle ranches and was a skilled butcher. I didn't watch.

Sorry I wasn't clearer: If you pass Harris Ranch and see a bunch of cattle, you might pursue where you can buy the meat; I meant the same thing about the lamb and assumed that was what the sign meant, but reallly can't say for sure.
