Sammy's Eatery on O'Connor

Has anyone been to this place? I've gone by (but not in) a thousand times and still don't know whether it's a "family restaurant" or a "prime rib house" or both. Or neither. So I'm curious, but not really willing to commit without any info.

Good? Bad? Indifferent? Info appreciated.

Definitely a family restaurant. The food is good and reliable and very reasonably priced, but nothing fancy or out of the ordinary. We mostly go for breakfast and have never been disappointed. Their sandwiches are also good and the staff is very friendly. When we've been there for dinner they have pushed the steak or prime rib special (whatever they have on that night) but we've never given it a try.
