Sushi Suggestions Tonite

bosanova99 Nov 11, 2008 09:24 AM

I'm taking a friend out for her birthday and would like some suggestions anywhere from Pasadena to the east to SHerman Oaks to the west. I love Iwata, but would like something nicer, but not too over the top $$$

How about Daichan in Studio City. More of a Japanese bistro but they do have sushi and sashimi it's a neat place.

i like k-zo too, but it isn't in bossanova's requested area.
nevertheless, if you end up there, figure on spending about $6 or so per 2 piece order of 'ordinary' sush (i.e., not toro, no fancy rolls, etc).
i've never gotten out of there for less than $45/pp.

I ended up at Iroha! I had not been there in years. It was good, but a little pricey. I think Iwata is still my fav!
