Does really good hot chocolate exist in Stamford?

My wife is a hot chocolate fiend, and sadly, since we moved to Stamford from the UWS last March, we haven't been able to find restaurant hot chocolate that measures up to the likes of Nonna on Columbus. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

How about Chocopologie and/or Caffeine, both in South Norwalk?

Margot's on High Ridge in Bull's Head has excellent hot chocolate, but I'm not sure if it's a regular thing. Worth asking, however. They sometimes have homemade marshmallows.

Sono Bakery in Norwalk also has great hot chocolate.

I got a very yummy hot chocolate last winter at Schakolad on Bedford Street in Stamford. They use real chocolate (not powder mixes) and hot milk and blend it together. I am pretty sure they make all their chocolate in-house too.

A second vote for Schakolad. The hot choco is even more comforting and rich than Chocopologie -- w/o the pretensions. Tho the store is a francise, feels very local with highly personalized and efficient service. Think it's the only one in New England.

They are a solid merchant on Bedford Street, holding down the fort on the west side of the street. Perfect for after the Avon, but limited seating since more of a chocolate take out store than a sitdown.

I don't know about Stamford, but Coco Michelle in Westport serves a delicious drinking chocolate, and, I would agree that Chocopologie is really good, too. Coco Michelle has a location across from the Westport train station (not sure if it's the new location, or just an additional one from Main Street shop)

I am a major chocoholic and I have tied most of them and Chocopolgie's coffee has dark chocolate and lavender and the mix is terrific. I bring mine home and it goes in the fridge ans it lasts for at least 3-4 days. Very decadent and yummy. I have never been to
Coco Michelle but I want to hear more comments on it before I try it. Have fun trying them all.

Brunch @ Schoolhouse in Cannondale. Good hot chocolate and amazing homemade marshmallows.
