ISO vegetarian friendly dinner nr. WeHo or BH

Hi - we have friends in from out of town (Toronto) and we're looking for someplace veggie friendly in or near West Hollywood or Beverly Hills. It's for an upscale dinner. Toronto has lots of great Italian, French and Asian restaurants - it would be good to show them something ( Latino, Persian perhaps) that they don't get at home. A quiet place would be a big plus.

tons of Persian restaurants in & around the BH & Westwood areas...and they're pretty veg-friendly. do a board search for member recs & favorites, or post a separate inquiry asking for upscale Persian recs.
