Dwarff, don't count everything out. There are plenty of places you can go and sit at the bar, have a glass of wine and an appetizer or salad and enjoy yourself MUCH more than Mickey D's. How about the bar at Mahoneys in Orleans - they have some great apps (I usually get seafood but I'm sure there's others you'd enjoy) Great atmosphere, jazz often on weekends....

good luck even finding a micky-d's between orleans and p-town! they just don't exist (not that that is a bad thing). There are several inexpensive restaurants in wellfleet, but I am not sure if they are open after thanksgiving. The Bookstore can be good (and, can be bad), and it overlooks the bay. You could easily have a nice glass of wine, and a salad or app. while watching the waves roll in. (http://www.wellfleetoyster.com/ ). Also, there is the lighthouse in wellfleet center, which used to be open year-round, plus they do mexican night on thursdays which is a lot of fun! good luck!

Further to this The Beachcomber is only open Memorial Day to Labour Day. I love The Mews in P Town.
