tarry lodge- my take

intrepid Nov 9, 2008 03:44 AM

hello, Ive eaten there three times now..heres my take. In short food is very good, prices are moderate, room is nice, but very loud. for example recentl for two, bill with tax came to $81 dollars. we had, 2 salads, 2 apps, 1 pizza, 1 pasta, i side rampini, 1 glass vino, 1 diet coke. food is tasty well prepared with good service. portions imho are moderate to small in size. menu is diverse and well orchestrated to be tasty, yet affordable.would I call tarry lodge great, no, but it is good solid food, at fair prices

i've eaten there twice and i'd have to agree with you on all levels....good but not great.........though, even when the buzz dies down, i don't see it as the type of place where i can just pop in and have a salad and a pizza without waiting 30 mins.-1 hr......hopefully i'm wrong........we shall see....
