Upcoming visit, what do you think?

Hello, getting really excited now, we will be in NYC this Friday and although we have been before each time is as exciting as the first!

As usual I have spent the last year refining our itinerary but would appreciate any comments you can make

Friday
lunch- Spotted Pig. My husband loves blue cheese burgers and I think the Cubano sounds amazing
dinner- Arturo's may not be the 'best' but we love the atmosphere cosy, busy with the live jazz

Saturday
brunch- Telepan, this I am uncertain about. I would prefer somewhere you can book as brunch is a big deal. I also intend on going to Donut Plant and Russ and Daughter's for a Super Heeb in the morning for breakfast.
dinner- ssam bar, this place

Sunday
Lunch Gramercy Tavern my husband loves the atmosphere of the Tavern also helps that they have a good cocktail list!
dinner- Grand Sichuan International St Mark's I have read alot about Sichuan Gourmet but have plumped for GSI and this branch.

Monday
Lunch Yasuda
Dinner Babbo

Tuesday
Lunch- Le Bernardin
dinner- we had reservations at Allen and Delancey but on hearing Neil Ferguson has quit I canceled them, so we have an open slot. Still can't decide if it was a mistake to cancel, but now thinking of Casa Mono

Wednesday
Lunch Di Fara
Dinner- L'atelier.

Thursday- random selection of things we liked the best.

Where are you staying? Donut Plant and Russ & Daughters are on the Lower East Side. Telepan is on the Upper West Side. They are not close to one another...seems like you'll be bouncing around town on Saturday morning?

Hi, we are staying LES. I get bad jet lag so am usually awake by 5am. My husband doesn't and usually lies in! To combat this I plan to wander about the LES hence the donut and bagel, then have brunch at 1pm with his highness, once he wakes up. We are quite keen to go to Bemelmans at the Carlyle for a cocktail or two so would be heading uptown anyway. Thanks for pointing it out though. Love your posts by the way.

Sounds great! Have lunch at the bar at Gramercy Tavern, it's so much more fun. I like your upscale/downscale vibe. Thanks for helping our economy! Oh, one more thing...go to the Radio City Xmas Show - worth EVERY PENNY!
