I'm looking for some heavy duty 16 oz pint glasses for my home. The kind used at bars to serve beer - the straight-sided versions, not the imperial pint style. The last few versions I've purchased were thin walled and didn't take much abuse. I'm sure the commercial versions are much tougher. Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion of a particular brand or online vendor. Thanks

I do realize your request is for an online vendor, but this is generally going to be more expensive due to shipping costs....but here you go:

Bigtray.com will give you an ida of what is available commercially. Consider Ikea, Williams Sonoma or Pier 52 for some similar ideas

My best recommendation is for you to go to a local restaurant supplier in your area. Most all allow public access. This will offer you the best value per unit cost....but you must buy the case quantity. Most commercial large commercial glassware is packaged 24 per case.

Try to find glasses with tempered rims, most breakage occurs at the edge in my experience.

Is a good example, though most restaurant supply stores will have something similar.
