i think the new "Holidays" feature is awesome.

hey guys-- the new "holidays" feature is really cool and i love the luscious-looking photos that pop up when you browse over the recipe names. warm, inviting, attractive, intuitive & user friendly--very nice! i can see a new user getting totally sucked into the site as a result of features like this :)

(small suggestion, you know i can't resist, sorry)--is it too late to add kwanzaa recipes for this year? you could get lots of suggestions on the boards, i bet.

seriously, great job, though. i could look at "holidays" for hours and i anticipate lots of cooking from the recipes. cheers! :)

    1. Is there a link to it?

        1. uh, oh crud-- it seems the old "lag" is happening again-- i can read MMRuth's reply with the "all activity" work around, but i'm not seeing it here. i noticed this is happening again, infrequently, since yesterday. hope it goes away again. . .

MMRuth-- the link is in the bar at the top of the screen, to the right of "MyChow"-- "Holidays"-- it's new, i don't know when it was added, though.

          ETA: i see MMRuth's reply now, 3:59

Thanks - I'd missed that addition to the navigation bar - will check it out. I'm seeing the same lag thing too - I think there are some posts on the Tech Help board about it.

              • I like it, too, except that I keep accidentally clicking on it when I mean to access my MyChow page. Can you make it another color (green perhaps?) so it stands out?

I think adding Kwanzaa recipes is a terrific suggestion.

And, yes, the evil lag seems to be back...

Kwanzaa and even an international/global approach to regional holiday recipes would be nice. For instance, Hanukka needs a wider range of recipes.

                        Thanks for the green!
