suggestions near Berklee tonight

I'm going to a show at 8pm and am looking for something fairly quick and delicious to eat within walking distance of the Berkeley performance center. I'm never in that part of town, so I'm not sure what my options are. Any suggestions?

  1. By Berklee (not the college in CA) you could try Bhindi Bazaar for Indian or Island Hopper for various Asian cuisines, both on Mass Ave. and pretty easy to sit down, not bad. Bukowski's on Dalton St. for all sorts of beers and bar food. There's pizza, a Thai and hot dog place on Boylston St. Summer Shack also on Dalton and Chili Duck across from the Pru.

    1. I am a big fan of Sonsie, a 4 min. walk from Berklee, on Newbury St., one block up from mass, ave.. Reserve, or eat in the front cafe section. Long-lived bustling Euro bistro w/ Regional Amer. and International influences. Chef owned by a very conscientious talented chef. If you do end up getting something 'quick' there, don't miss their extraordinary Smoked ( and then fried) Onion Rings. My fav onion rings ever and forever. Get there by 6 or 6:30 and you'll be fine.

btw, it's Berklee, named after it's founder, Lee Berk.

      1. We recently went to an event at Berklee and ate at Trattoria Toscano beforehand. It was about a 15 minute walk. Petit Robert Bistro in about 10 minutes away by foot.
