Tips for Dining, Eating and Food Shopping in the Tristate Area

Wedding on LI

I am at the early stages of planning a wedding on LI and my main priority is the food. Right now, the front runner for my reception is the Oheka Castle. But, I wanted to check and see if anyone has been to a wedding there and how the food was. Also, what is the best venue for food on LI.

    1. You might look at Coindre Hall in Huntington and also Philip Stone caterers-our whole experience was excellent

        1. If $$$ is not an issue, Oheka is very good. They'll basically do whatever you want. I've found as a general rule for catering in Nassau County what you pay is what you get. Is everything overpriced compared to other areas? Yes, but that's how all things are around here; i.e.: gas in bergen county right now is $2.20 a gallon, here it's $2.75.
