For breakfast yesterday I cut up some plums, fried them in butter, added sugar to taste (the plums were under ripe), and finished with a bit of cream. Severed them as filling/topping for crepes.

I just posted a recipe in the member recipes section that my family loves. It's called Apple Cranberry Bake. It's basically apple pie without the crust, with cranberries and optional chopped walnuts added, baked, served warm, with melted chocolate drizzled on top. Very seasonal. I serve it with pumpkin or vanilla ice cream.

some of my faves are also the most simple...

stewed rhubarb with cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar

baked apples, cored and stuffed with cinnamon, brown sugar, pistachios or raisins if desired and baked

sliced peaches or pineapple sprinkled with a little sugar and/or cinnamon then broiled or grilled

If you cored the fruit to remove the seeds and peeled the fruit would it be tolerated?

I like the classics: apple pie, tarte tatin made with pears, crisps and crumbles. Is that what you mean?

What fruit doesn't have seeds? Do you mean no stone fruit or no berries?

I made really good stewed pears last weekend, adapted from this months COTM, Simple Food, by Alice Waters.

Since pears have seeds, I need to know if you could eat this....obviously removing the seeds.

No berries, but I remember a warm dish my Mom made with coconut and fruit and it was delicious. I just want a recipe of something good that someone has made already.

                    thanks
