looking for venue for baby shower

Looking for a hotel, bakery, courtyard area to host baby-shower. Would like someplace with good food, i.e. tea sandwiches, petifores, etc.... any ideas????

Windsor Court and Ritz Carlton do tea. Call their sales depts. to see if they can accommodate or arrange for a private room. you might also call Cafe Amelie, thru:

I went to a lovely baby shower in a private room at Emeril's Delmonico. It seems to me it overlooked a green space. Royal Sonesta has a lovely courtyard, as does Broussard's.

Predicated on my most recent trip to Windsor Court (not an earlier one), I'd agree. I think that the ladies would greatly enjoy the elegence of the venue and I'd guess that they could accommodate almost any menu.

Also, based on some recent excursions, I'd look to two Brennan-family, albeit different brances, restaurants: the old Brennans, on the patio, and Ralph's on the Park. Though I'm a guy, I could see either working well for a ladies' gathering.
