Has the economy affected your NYC restaurant/food selections? [moved from Manhattan]
Seeing as how it is still ridiculously expensive to order quality food and wine in NYC restaurants (even in light of multiple financial collapses), do you order differently?
Are you substituting one restaurant for another? One dish for another? Eliminating courses?
Throwing caution to the wind?
I am a big fan of OpenTable & what I am doing is perusing their new list of restos
that are offering double points for dining...obviously an incentive for folks that are
changing their dining habits due to the economy.
Fiscally, I'm eliminating the after-meal coffee which is usually ridiculously priced
& many times not to my palate.
