Miami dining?

My wife and I will be in Miami at the end of the month and we were wondering if there were any 'must eats' there that we should look into?

You really need to say where you are staying and how mobile you are. Miami actually covers much ground.

True Miami is big. We are staying at the Richmond hotel on Collins Ave.

My favorites in South beach are (in no particular order):
Talula, Osteria Del Teatro, Sardinia, Prime 112, Martarello (takeout), Joes Stone Crab (this is actually a must because not only is it great but is a miami institution), Creek 28 and Indomania.

Alta Mar is very good too but not sure I would put it in a must try category...

It depends on what you're looking for (and where) of course, but here are a few of my favorites that are quintessential Miami. Search for any of these places with the search feature, and you'll find good stuff on these places...

      Michy's - 69th Street and Biscayne

Michael's Genuine - 40th Street and Miami Avenue (Design District)... also near Pacific Time if you want to split your meal at these two places.

Andu - a new restaurant in the Brickell area - but very interesting and consistently good menu - NW 2nd Avenue and SW 7th Street.

Ortanique - Coral Gables (Miracle Mile)

If you're looking for anything specific, feel free to post, and I am sure you will get some good feedback.
