Looking for a good place to have lunch during the weekday lunch hour in Framingham...
Any ideas for something that's not super slow in the Framingham/Natick area but has a good lunch?
When I used to work out that way and I had a little extra time, I'd sneak over to Oishii Too in Sudbury. Along similar lines, but closer by, Oga on Route 9 in Natick is reliably good for sushi.
EO Noodle on Route 9 in Framingham does reliably good homemade noodles.
And I'm actually a sucker for Kelly's Roast Beef in the Jordan's in Natick.
you didn't say what kind of lunch you were after, basically a place to grab a sandwich, or a nicer sit-down sort of place, or some place to impress a client?
I agree with many of the suggestions on this thread, especially Sel de la Terre in the Natick Collection, if you are looking for something nicer. I also like John Harvard's in the back part of Shopper's World.
I can't believe no one has suggested Sichuan Gourmet, also on route 9. Some of the best Chinese in the area (though Red Pepper may be just as good, I haven't tried that one yet).
Gold Star in Shoppers world is another Indian restaurant, personally I think is better than Rasoi, but that's just my opinion.
Big Fresh, on the route 30 side of Shoppers world has great falafel wraps. (not to be confused with the chain place, Fresh City). Also there is a Tennesee's bbq joint back there which isn't bad.
