Dovetail or Bar Blanc?

I’ve been going back and forth between having dinner at either Dovetail or Bar Blanc. While I understand the ambiance will be different at the two, I was hoping to get some opinions on the food differences. I’m guessing by the space that Bar Blanc is a bit more trendy, but again, correct me if I’m wrong please.

You are absolutely right, the ambience is different, as is the clientele, which is generally younger at Bar Blanc. I have been to both several times, and they are among my favorite restaurants. Choosing between the two is difficult. Both have interesting, innovative cooking. I would just go with whichever one has the more appealing menu for you. But whichever you try, be sure to keep the other in mind for a future time.
