Inexpensive fish restaurant, party of 9, including kids

I'm having trouble coming up with a suggestion.

My cousin's husband's 50th birthday. Party of 9, including a finicky 10 year old and a less finicky 6 year old.

UWS would be easiest.

Several of the adults are kosher(ish) so a fish place would be a good solution. We did think of Mermaid Inn, but for parties of 8 or larger, they require a prix fixe, which wouldn't really work for the kids.

Neptune Room was ruled too expensive.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Compass has a $35 prix fixe menu. Is that too expensive? Perhaps you could call them and see if they can make any kind of accommodation for the children.

Perhaps Epices on West 70th? They've got fish, vegetarian pastas and vegetarian appetizers. And it's in your price range.

You might want to check and see if Kefi would allow reservations for a large group, because they would fit your needs well if not for the no-reservation rule.
Not in the UWS, but 20 blocks south in Hell's Kitchen is Uncle Nick's which serves affordable and decent seafood.

Thank you for your suggestions. We ALMOST ended up at Epices, but we will be going to Nice-Matin.
