Not sure if it's why you are going to Moncton this weekend, but, it's the annual Wine Festival there....If you don't have reservations somewhere, you should try and make some. It's difficult to get a table in many of the restaurants around town on this weekend.

I am in fact going to the Wine Festival, and I have an extra ticket I could probably sell at a hefty profit! We're looking for a pre-Festival dinner, although it will have to be an early bird dinner, and we want to leave room for wine and food pairings.

I have heard very good things about the new sushi place in Moncton, Pink Sushi, on main street.

We are going to Little Louis's on Collishaw. They have a relatively new chef, so we are looking forward to it.
There's a lot of hype about Rouge, but we weren't impressed by it the last time we ate there.
Have heard good things about the Windjammer in the Delta. Friends ate there last weekend and said it was excellent...

well i've been to LL's a few times pre-recent chef changes, and i'm not sure if they've changed again, but I hear the recent trend is towards the itsy bitsy teeny pretty things on a plate sort of thing....
for the record, i always enjoyed it, just haven't been since I heard of this change (not necessarily for this reason).
The Windjammer has a new name....but I can't recall it ! Trio or something? Or maybe that's an added restaurant .

Not sure about the name change....our friends refered to it as the "Windjammer", but were staying in the hotel, so maybe they didn't notice the name change?

I've received a recommendation for vegetarian restaurant, Calactus on St. George Street. I haven't been able to find a menu on-line, just a lot of positive reviews. It looks a little casual for a nice dinner, though. Perhaps a lunch stop?
