Real corned beef hash - Where??

2slices Nov 3, 2008 06:11 AM

I just posted this exact same thing on the outer boroughs, cuz I'm willing to travel.

As a reference the best I know of is Thomas Ham and Eggery in nassau county, anywhere in brooklyn or queens is also appreciated.

I was thinking 2nd ave might have it. Still haven't been to the new one. Do they have good breakfast overall? I'm talking about a late saturday or sunday breakfast. Also, what's the new place like inside?

New place is tiny. Haven't eaten breakfast there though. I've been meaning to go to try the hash.

i was there for breakfast a couple weeks ago. i got the corned beef hash and it was very good, but the whole menu is pretty $$$.

          its nice inside, but small.

sarge's isn't as nice but it is cheaper

I know about the comparison of sandwiches at each, but how does the Sarges corned beef hash compare to 2nd Ave Deli in both taste and price? I've only had the Sarge's one delivered.

              17.95 at 2nd avenue

              10.95 at Sarge's.

I havent had the corned beef hash at Sarge's in a while, but 2nd ave's isnt worth that price.

I've only had corned beef hash at Sarges, and I think it's great, but then again I have nothing to compare it to. And get the fries instead of the bland potato that comes with it.
