Fried Pickles anywhere?o_O

My bf hopes that such monstrosity exists (outside of Texas that is) -- is there anywhere in NYC that we can get it?

    well
    dont know if you want to go there
    but
    Hooters does serve them
    and they go really well with blue moon beer

      They're chip shaped (discs, not spears), and battered, but surprisingly tasty -- my first encounter this weekend at Brother Jimmy's. Good luck!

        i think soho park has them. not anywhere as good as the ones in texas but if he needs a fix...

            Many of the places where I searched from this thread served the more "southern" style fried pickles (batter dipped) and not what I was looking for. But that may be what you are looking for ...
