Mosaica - NJ. Excellent
I have been there a number of times over the past few months and it has become one of my favorites. The food is outstanding, ambience is nice and intimate and the service has been very good. The owners, Michel and Dalia, are very accommodating and eager to please.

Had dinner there last night with a colleague. It was outstanding. After appetizers of Moroccan vegetarian cigars and a mixed Middle Eastern plate, I had the duck and he had the lamb. Service was great, as usual.
I took a peak at the Thanksgiving menu - prix fixe of $45. Looked wonderful. I think there are 3 seatings - Noon, 3 and 6.›1 Reply-
re: Howard
I ate there 2 weeks ago. First time. Ambiance - pleasant; Service - very attentive; Presentation - beautiful; Taste - Better than almost anywhere else in the NY metro area. But still missing that "Oh Wow" sensation that comes when an outstanding flavor hits your palate. Generally under-seasoned food. Missing the punch of flavors that can really open up a dish. I get that at Tevere, and got it at Solo when the guest chef was in; occasionally at Pasta Factory; and when Esme first opened. But not here. Will still go back, because it's still far better than anything we have around the Teaneck area. And Michel was very open and interested in hearing what we had to say.

re: Howard
My son and daughter-in-law ate there within the past couple of months, due to my recommendation which I gleaned from this very board! They both loved it and would go back again, even though they live in Monsey, which is in a different State. (I've never eaten there myself, but would like to try it; hopefully it will still be in business if and when the economy finally imporves enough for us to consider eating in a restaurant.)
