Andre's (Las Vegas)
We are thinking of venturing off the strip for one dinner during an upcoming Vegas trip in December. Andre's looks appealing but I have a quick question. I see that there are many dining rooms within the restaurant. and each has a name... Is there a "best" room with more appealing atmosphere to request? And is Andre's a recommended choice? How does it compare with others I am considering such as Le Cirque, Mix, Picasso? I had wanted to try Alex but it is listed as closed during my dates. We have 3 nights and wanted one or two special experiences. The other night will probably be a more contemporary meal such a SW Steak or N9ne. Several of the diners are in their 20's but they enjoy fine dining. Would appreciate some expert opinions and info!
You don't mention your dates, but I just got a call from LeCirque cancelling our Dec. 6 reservation. They're closed thru the 9th, I didn't catch what date it starts. We are so disappointed, we had decided on Le Cirque based on the many raves here, and I'm not sure where to go now. But something will become clear!
Call Andre's and find out about their availability. This will help with your decision. I had originally booked a table at the Monte Carlo location for 12/17 or 12/18, only to be told that the original Andre's was closing for good, and that they were moving everything to the MC location, which was being renovated, and would not reopen until 12/24 or so. Ultimately, we had to scratch Andre's until the next trip.
