Ever since sampling the huaraches at the Red Hook Ballfields I've craved them. The ballfields are closed and I am not satisfied. I am looking for info about where to get them (carts and restaurants) in the NYC and Brooklyn area.

A few of the red hook vendors, including one with excellent huaraches, will be at the brooklyn flea until mid-December.

noche mexicana (amsterdam near W102) makes great huaraches and they are $5 or under depending on the meat.

exxxxactly. the huaranches are greasy and wonderful at noche. (but be careful -- you won't want to eat for the rest of the day.)
