Glatt kosher wedding hall needed [moved from Tristate]

I am looking for a caterer and venue for my daughter's wedding. We are looking at Great Neck Synagogue, Sands, White Shul and Crest Hollow Country Club...any comments on those or others you suggest? Do you actually get a lot less for your money by going to less expensive options and if so, who do you suggest? We are from "out of town" and haven't been to many sites. Thanks for your help.

You will probably do best, price wise, at the Sands or Creat Hollow over the other two venues. We had our daughter's wedding in August '07 at the Sands catered by Mauzone. We were very happy with both the venue and the food. The number of guests is big consideration.

made a chasana @ the Sands/Mauzone in 2001. Wasn't my choice but the other side wanted it and they were paying for 2/3 of the chasana (they had 2/3 of the guests)

I have no complaints, it was a lovely chasana

One of the best I have been to is Eden Caterers in temple Sholom in Brooklyn. Food is great facility is wonderful. The owner is great. Ask for Ira he is fantastic. This is ten times better than the sands. phone is 718-763-0300. Good luck

Try the Sephardic Synagogue in Cedarhurst. We had my daughter's wedding there and it was wonderful. The food was terrific and the service was too. And it's a beautiful venue for a wedding.

Take a look at Temple Israel of Lawrence. In-house glatt kosher caterer (Morrell). Just had my wedding there in August. People are still talking about the great food!
