Business dinner

I'm from Ottawa and planning a business dinner for 50 executives. Looking for good restaurants in vicinity of Berri metro station. I've had Hélène de Champlain recommended to me (though I think that's a bit further) and I've found Le Piémontais which doesn't look bad. Do you have any further recommendations?

    1. To be honest, I do not think that there are any good quality restaurants close to the Berri Uqam metro station. Instead, I suggest taking cabs or the metro and bringing your guests to one of the following restaurants (some may even accomodate a specific menu and close the restaurant just for your group):
L'Inconnu - French cuisine, Ouzeri - Greek (on St-Denis), Cafe Ferreira - Portuguese, the Keg. They all have different price range, do it all depends on your budget.

      1. Hélène de Champlain has beautiful setting in a historic house on Ile-Ste-Hélène.

Unfortunately, it has a spotty reputation for food (for the price) and you will need to arrange transportation.

50 person groups are often dangerous propositions, especially in Montreal where restaurants are typically on the smaller side. I would make sure they have a private room or book a small restaurant for your group exclusively.

Are you looking for more of a steakhouse or fine dining establishment? For a steakhouse at a somewhat reasonable cost; Gibby's in Old montreal is a nice setting and they are used to large groups.
