Just had dinner at Girvan Grille in brooklyn park, MN. I've been so sick of Maple Grove chain restaurants and my oh my it was a nice change of scenery! It took a coupon to get me to go out that way, but I'll definitely be back even without a buy-one get-one coupon. Food was good and service was great. Made it just in time for their happy hour and had these crazy egg roll things filled with buffalo chicken and blue cheese. Even though it was warm and sunny out, I was still feeling like some home cooking and ordered the chicken marsala. I wanted to lick up the rest of the sauce it was so tasty! My husband had a cheesy, bacon-y delicious burger. I was stuffed but the server insisted that if we like chocolate cake we had to get their "seven layer sin" cake. it was soooooooo yummy!!!!!!! oh man. i need more! yummy yummy yummy!

if you live in the brooklyn park, maple grove, champlin, osseo area like we do, you should give it a try. it's in kind of a weird location on 85th avenue at a golf course but it's a gem once you get inside!
