Good eats Shoreline, North Seattle?

Have to drop my car off in Shoreline tonight and thought I would pick up some dinner to bring back into Seattle. Anything great I should try? Looking for something that will translate to take out.

Of course I will be stopping by Central Market to pick up some groceries as well...

Fu Man Dumpling House at 143rd and Greenwood is a popular stop for us when we have to take the car to the shop. It's almost exactly one mile south of Central Mrkt (our other popular spot while picking up/dropping off the car).

I'm sure I'm too late in replying on this, but Grinders on Aurora in Shoreline is really good. They have monster-sized hot and cold sandwiches. Nice selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian options, beer/wine, and a good atmosphere. I think they have live jazz music certain nights of the week, too.

Townspa- I second Grinders....yummmmmy!!! I know I am late at responding, but anyone hopping by this post, needing a place to try above Seattle, Grinders is the place. Hot Sandwiches, chili, and theirr bread puddingthe only thing bad is the hours....open Wednesday-Saturday. Yes only 4 days a week!

Here's another thought: since you're stopping at Central Market, check out their new deli and prepared food section. It's huge with lots of ready to eat or heat exotic fare, even Indian and Asian.

Saltoro on greenwood. not far from central mkt. the waygu burger with truffle frites are very good and they have an inexpensive wine list.

If you like Mexican, you should try El Sabor, next to McDonalds near 155th. They have excellent food to eat in or take out with super prices.
