Pre-dinner Drinks location, near Aurora...?

I live in San Francisco and spend a decent amount of time in NY, but this will be my first time to Aurora somehow (in two weeks). I'm looking for a nice place to meet a friend for drinks at 6pm before a 7pm dinner at Aurora.
Any ideas?
