I want sugar skulls, too! [MSP]
I noticed a post from a Madison chowhound looking for sugar skulls and other Dia de los Muertos goodies. Me, too - me, too!
I would love to hear of any place in the Twin Cities that has sugar skulls, decorated skeletons, pan de muertos, or anything else for the Day of the Dead. I don't care if it's prefab or home-made or whatever. I just need me some skulls!
Any leads?

A friend who teaches school (skool?) really wanted to make these with her kids but everyone seemed to indicate that she NEEDED meringue powder which is generally only available online. in case we wanted to make some this weekend does anyone have a local MSP based supplier for this stuff. i did some searching for substitutes but didnt find anything that looked promising.

Call Sweet Celebrations (formerly Maid of Scandinavia). They have meringue powder in their catalog, and probably stock it in their stores.
