Group Dinner, 15 People, East of Western, Under $35

The title of the post pretty much says it all. I'm planning a dinner for a large group of people (between 10 and 15) and looking for ideas. I'd like to keep it under $35/person (with booze), and stay between Western and the 5 (those boundaries are slightly flexible). Definitely looking for something fun and festive. Good food is, obviously, a prereq.

Korean BBQ is the obvious choice, and I'm happy with that, but wondering if there's anything else I should be thinking about. Ethiopian would be great, but I don't want to go that far west.

Can anyone think of places that fit the bill?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Yong Su San, on Vermont, has private rooms and a variety of set menus that may be in your price range.

Interesting. It looks like there are pretty mized reviews of Yong Su San on here. But you like it?

A few years back, it was considered uniformly excellent. Haven't been in the recent past so I don't know if it has faded a bit.

        Here's a link to an L.A. Times article from 2005. It's at number 15.
