You can sometimes find them at Costco. I bought a large bag last year for around $5.00 -- I think it was more closer to December when I saw them.

I've picked up a fresh bag of them at D&J's Market in the SE a few months ago but they were very limited and don't have them anymore. They were amazing though! D&J's market always manages to bring in some unique items almost every week so it's a bit of a crap shoot what they have.

i think i saw some at Fresh Kitchen on 42 Ave SW & 20 St - but i was just doing a tour of the place so not paying too close attention - they has a few kinds of prepared onions

I've seen them at L'Epicerie, but that's about it. Will be honest though, don't usually go looking for them
