Best Fish Taco in Orlando

I've been craving fish tacos recently but I just can't seem to find a very good one here in Orlando. Any suggestions?

McCormick & Shmick Seafood @ Millenia has a great bar menu for happy hour where everything is under $5. This includes fish tacos ($2/ea) which are blackened (tilapia?) include black beans and the normal toppings.

One drink minimum, runs from 4:30 to 6:30.

Maria Bonita's in east orlando. Off of colonial between Rouse and dean. Great Mexican food!. Never had the fish tacos, but everything else is great. Can't imagine them being under par.

Sorry it took so long,, I tried and loved! They take and grill a tylapia filet and put it on a hommade tortilla with the best cheese I have had at a mexican place. It also comes with lettuce and tomato. I skip the lettuce. An order of three with beans and rice is $8

We went to Del Taco during the first week they opened, and I had to try a fish taco. You were right... "just ok." Aside from the churro, nothing I tried there really grabbed me. I've honestly had more flavorful food at Taco Bell, unfortunately.

I have been enjoying your blog, by the way. Keep it up!

Baja Burrito Kitchen on Colonial east of Bumby has them, but they are relatively tiny and rather expensive, at over $3 each. Tasty, but not worth it. Cheesecake Factory has them too, of course...

We also have them here in Mt. Dora at Fiesta Grande mexican Grill. This place is pretty authentic so they might be good. I'll give them a try and report back.

I don't get up to Mt. Dora all that often but when I get a chance I'll check it out. Let me know if you try these before I do. Thanks

I'm used to the large fish tacos were you get about 2. At 3 dollars a pop I'm assuming these are smaller tacos? I will try this place. Thank you.

I suggest Taste in College Park (Orlando area). I've tried them at several other places and Taste is the only place that makes them good.

I've never been to Taste and now I have a reason to go. Thanks.
