Tom's Kitchen - Still Open???

I'll be visiting London (coming from New York City) next week, and I have a reservation for Tom's Kitchen on Thursday the 6th. I have heard that his places have gone into administration... I just wanted to make sure that Tom's Kitchen is still open for business. If anyone can help me out with an answer, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I believe it is still open.

I understand it was a MBO that allows the company to continue trading. It is reported that the previous business still owes all their suppliers lots of money, and the small specialist/artisan suppliers have little hope of getting paid as the new team don't take over the obligations.

What that means for the quality of the menu and availability of produce can only be guessed at.

      Michael,

It was still open on Friday 31 October, although sparsely occupied. A few decent alternatives within walking distance: Sophie's Steakhouse (Fulham Road) and Racine (Brompton Road), or if you are having lunch try the fixed price menu at Aubergine (Park Walk).

      Enjoy your trip.
