I been preaching Partamians for years. The LA Times did a story on them not to long ago. Owner died and the family got together and gave the business to the 2 employees, long time friends who came from Mexicao together 40 years ago. I love that story!

it is usually beef at most places, the good stuff has lamb also, that is how my grandmother used to make it. The lamb gives a little more flavor.

Thanks. Partamian is good but was hoping for something on the WESTSIDE (see title). I just didn't want to be one of these a-holes on the fwy driving all the way crosstown for one thing. It's on WEST Adams so I suppose it's not half bad...

It is right near La Cienega & Washington, about 1/2 mile from there. That is as wext side as you are going to get for great lahmajun. No, sorry, "The Best in LA", you pay more, maybe double everywhere else, but is it serious good.

Hey , the westside has some great places for certain things. Sometimes you need to travel for greatness. If the mountain ain't close to Muhammed, Mushammed must go to the mountain. If you want great Chinese, Dim Sum or Thai head EAST young man, HEAD EAST!

Of course, I agree. I've taken 200 mile detours to eat one meal but that's another story.

I was just wishing there was some secret place nearby. I'm willing to try frozen too. =:-o
