Chocolate and seafood recipes?
I might be barking up the wrong tree but I'm wondering if anyone has any good seafood recipes with chocolate in them, mainly milk or dark. I can't quite think of how the flavors will work together but I was thinking maybe bacon wrapped scallops with a dark chocolate and chili sauce or something along those lines. Happy to hear any suggestions and/or horror stories about this combination.
Inasmuch as "white chocolate" isn't actually chocolate at all, this may be cheating.
Remember that Mole sauce is made with chocolate and any fish you might serve with a Mole sauce should do quite well. I might use a sword fish, halibut, or similar firm fish steak or filet (perhaps even some varieties of salmon) in either case.
